Spring Flower Making Ten Math Activity for Kindergarten & First Grade

These spring flower making ten puzzles are great for pre-k and kindergarten. Students will practice finding the number that makes 10 when added to the given number. Build number sense with these fun, hands-on spring math activity!

Use the flower theme making ten puzzles in your math centers or math stations this spring.

There are two versions included in this resource - one version uses numerals and the other uses ten frames. In addition, this set comes in color and black and white for ease of use. Optional recording sheet included.

Students will pick a flower and then determine which flower pot will make ten when added to the number on the flower. After that, they will put the flower in the flower pot. This continues until all flowers have been matched to their corresponding flower pot.
