Counting Forward Number Order Strips for Math Centers
These fun, hands-on back to school counting forward number strips give kids a fun way to practice number identification, counting on and number order while building number sense.
Students will pick a strip and look at the number on the bus. Then they will count forward to find the next 3 numbers. They can use magnetic numbers or number tiles to build each number in one box on the strip.
For example, they can pick up the strip with the number 5 on it. Then count forward to determine that the next 3 numbers are 6, 7 and 8. After that, they can write the numbers on the included recording sheet.
There is a number strip for all numbers between 1 and 20. Then there are 3 numbers for the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s.
For example, the 30s includes numbers 32, 36, and 38.
These extra strips are perfect for students who need more of a challenge.
These are great for math centers, morning tubs and more.
In addition, they come in color and black and white for ease of use. Recording sheet included as well!
