CVC Find and Color Sheets Phonics Activity - Blending and Segmenting Phonemes

This CVC phonics activity will send students on a fun CVC word hunt to practice blending and segmenting CVC words. Teach phoneme isolation and reading skills with this low-prep CVC word activity that is jam-packed with reading and spelling practice. This is sure to engage and excite young learners! 

There is very little prep needed. Print the sheets, cut the cards apart and send the kids on a CVC word hunt.

Details:

• 15 different themes so that you can use them all year long
• Two sets of CVC words that alternate with each new theme
• Color and black and white options for each theme

How to Use:

1. Place CVC picture cards around the room or in a pile on the table.
2. Students have a find and color sheet. They go around the room looking for cards and coloring the corresponding word on their sheet. Or students pull a card from the pile and color the corresponding word.
3. This continues until all words are found.
