This alphabet activity will send students on a fun letter hunt to learn letters and letter sounds. Teach letter recognition and letter sounds while building phonics skills with this low-prep alphabet hunt activity that is jam-packed with differentiation. There is very little prep needed. Print the sheets, cut the cards apart and send the kids on a letter or letter sounds hunt.
Details:
- 13 different themes so that you can use them all year long.
- Two levels for each theme - one for letter recognition and one for letter sounds
- Color and black and white options for each theme
How to Use:
- Place letter cards or beginning sound cards around the room or in a pile on the table.
- Students have a find and color sheet. They go around the room looking for cards and coloring the corresponding letter on their sheet. Or students pull a card from the pile and color the corresponding letter.
- This continues until all letters are found.
** There is also a beginning sounds find and color sheet for added differentiation. Students can look for letter cards and color the corresponding beginning sound picture on their sheet. **
