I think this is a great idea! My daughter is just starting to tell the difference between a letter and a word. This is a concrete way for her to practice making words and seeing how letters come together to build a word. The only I wish is that it came with an editable page to add more words to build.

Assisting my daughter at home as we transition to a year of homeschool I am finding that the more hands on the better she can perform and be engaged. We love playing with blocks normally so adding this learning twist has been a great way to get her to work on sight words.
