Editable Name Writing Practice Activities

$7.50 $20.00

The kids will love these low-prep editable name tracing and writing practice activities that include hands-on name tracing and name building worksheets and games for preschool and kindergarten.

Even better, most of the name activities are print and play! Many can just be slipped into write and wipe pockets and used that way. Others only require cutting on a few lines.

Not only do these name activities teach kids to recognize and write their name, but they do it in a way that is fun and uses a variety of manipulatives and supplies.

Kids will use things like play dough, dot markers, art supplies, blocks, dry-erase markers and more while learning their name.

Now you don't have to be stuck in the rut of just having kids trace their name over and over again.

Teachers like you said:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cynthia M. said "One of my best purchases! Love this have put sight words in it besides names."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tara F. said "There are SO many options and various ways for students to practice their names using the pages in this package. The variety keeps them engaged. I’ve even had students who have mastered their first name move on to learning their last name.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amber Y. said "I live in a community with limited preschool opportunities so name practice was essential the first part of the year. Each student is now able to recognize their name and I loved how engaging these activities were!"

You are going to save lots of time, up the fun factor in your classroom and feel like a rockstar.

This is not just limited to shorter names. Fonts will resize to fit longer names too!

After purchasing this product, you MUST open it with Adobe Reader. You can get it for FREE here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/

If you do not open it with Adobe Reader, the formatting and fonts will not display correctly. This is the only way the editable fields will work.

Also, if you try to do this on a Chromebook, tablet or a phone, it usually does not work. Even if you are using Adobe on the device, it does not show the embedded fonts. You will need to do it on a regular computer.

This is a great tool for the beginning of kindergarten to practice the letters in a child's name. Some children don't know the letters in their names, this helps reinforce their understaning.

I didn't use all the pages due to student ability. I like that you can remove pages and the book is still usable.

This resource looks so cool, but I can't get it to work on my computer. The app you suggested will not download and nothing else seems to be working. I'm disappointed because these worksheets are exactly what I wanted but I can't access them due to the program used.

I love the many different options for working on names! Just tracing and writing can get boring and is not always developmentally appropriate. This can be used in centers/literacy stations or as morning work activities. Type in and auto-fill is always a plus!!
