Better yet, there is no prep required for you! Just print and play! This is a simple way to add more fun to your math centers or small group lessons this Thanksgiving.

While using this roll and cover the number activity, students will learn numbers, counting, subitizing, and addition skills.

There are 4 different number mats for 4 different levels of play. There is a mat for each of the following:

Mat 1: Roll 1 dice for numbers 1-6

Mat 2: Roll 2 dice for numbers 2-12

Mat 3: Roll 3 dice for numbers 3-18

Mat 4: Roll 4 dice for numbers 4-24

To use this number sense math activity, students will follow these steps:

1. Roll the dice.

2. Find the corresponding number on the mat and cover it.

3. Keep rolling and covering numbers until all of the spaces have been covered.
